 Here is a rare opportunity to own a Fully Restored classic Lyman.  This Lyman 18’ Outboard is the largest outboard powered boat that Lyman produced. The boat received a 2YR 400+ Hour restoration. All mechanicals are new, from the Yamaha F70 4-Stroke outboard w/power trim & tilt, all new Yamaha controls, cables, harness & gauges. New SeaStar steering system with polished mahogany/Stainless Steel wheel. The boat was completely rewired with new bilge pump, navigation lights, battery and cables.  The boat retains all of its original hardware, including the factory lifting rings bow & stern; as well as its desirable forward opening windshields. The boat is turnkey.

Additional Information

Restoration work included new solid mahogany decks and gunwales, and a new double planked ¾” Okume transom with built in swim platform. The original bottom frames and planks are all in superb condition, and were refastened and sealed before applying 3 coats of copper bronze bottom paint. The topside lapstrakes received 5 coats of Interlux Brightside, topped with 2 coats in Carolina blue; and 12 coats of varnish protect the mahogany decks, transom and interior panels.
